In addition to exclusive savings through SOCA, the Madeira Chamber provides the following benefits to its local members.
1. Ribbon cutting ceremony for new businesses located in Madeira
If your business is new, or under new management, the Chamber will bring City of Madeira leaders together along with the news media to promote your business.
We will assist you in the following:
– Make arrangement with the city for a proclamation and a dignitary to present
– Provide scissors and ribbon for a photo
– Distribute a news release to all Chamber members and selected news outlets
2. Business profile in City of Madeira newsletter
The City of Madeira sends out a newsletter five times throughout the year featuring a spotlight of Madeira Chamber of Commerce business members. Please provide a .JPG image with a business description of 100 words or less that focuses on how your business will impact Madeira residents. This opportunity is on a first come, first serve basis.
3. Business listing on the Madeira Chamber of Commerce website
Madeira businesses will be listed on our website with the name of your company, address, phone number, the service you provide and your website address as listed on your membership application. Non-Madeira businesses can be listed as part of our co-op marketing program.
4. Chamber business meetings
Chamber meetings are held at City Hall in the Council Chamber on the second Wednesday of each month at Noon. A complimentary lunch is offered for members and guests. Don’t miss your opportunity to network with other chamber members. We’ll also hear from officer and committee reports on key items related to the operation of the Chamber and updates from the City of Madeira and Madeira City Schools. 6. Breakfast & Learn
The chamber hosts a monthly “Breakfast & Learn” series on the first Wednesday of the month February through October. Featured speakers present various topics related to growing your business including topics related to minimizing expenses and maximizing revenue, marketing and networking, and how to get the most out of your employees. 7. Cooperative Advertising Program & Events
Chamber members are invited to participate in our annual co-op program which allows businesses access to exclusive events and advertising opportunities including our annual Girls Night Out and Light Up Madeira, as well as ongoing promotion through social media, direct mailer and print advertising. 8. Chamber member window decal
Chamber members will receive a window decal to display at your business to show that you are a member and support the Madeira Chamber of Commerce. We continually encourage our residents to “shop local” and support our Chamber members.
